Passage to India’s Haggis Samosas Selling Like Hot Cakes

Passage to India, one of Edinburgh’s most popular Indian restaurants, is making a real meal of its haggis samosas.

Served only as a one-off speciality on Burns Night, the restaurant’s samosa has turned out to be such a hit with customers that it has inspired the restaurant to include it on it’s a la carte menu.

“They just can’t get enough of it,” notes the jubilant chef-patron of Passage to India, Bobby Singh. “It’s made from our own recipe that combines haggis with Indian ingredients and customers love it to bits.”

Located opposite Edinburgh’s Playhouse Theatre, the restaurant also has regular ‘Curry-Oke’ nights, with customers belting out numbers such as the establishment’s very own ‘Poopodum Preach’ and Chicken Jalfrezi, You Make Me Crazy’.
