GOOD FOOD GUIDE SCAM

A scam has been discovered by the Good Food Guide whereby a company is offering establishments inclusion in the guide in return for money. Letters are being sent out under the name “Good Food Guide Limited” asking restaurants to pay to be in the 2012 guide.

Angela Newton, Publisher of the Good Food Guide said, “We never ask restaurants for money to feature in the guide and our criteria for inclusion is the same as it has always been – it is based on feedback from our readers and anonymous inspections.”
