Edinburgh’s Eateries in the Limelight

Kicking off the proceedings for 2008’s nationwide Taste Festivals,  Edinburgh will feature some of Scotland’s finest restaurants, food and drink producers – all in front of the magnificent backdrop of The Meadows.


Taste of Edinburgh, 29 May - 1 June, will host over 20 of the city’s top restaurants and showcase the work of celebrated chefs such as Michelin starred Martin Wishart from Restaurant Martin Wishart and Stuart Muir from Forth Floor at Harvey Nichols and visitors will also be able to watch Andrew Fairlie of Gleneagles demonstrating his recipes.


Signature dishes from David Bann, The Tower and Ducks at Le Marché Noir will be available to enjoy, whilst the market will sell produce from the likes of Ashers Bakery of Moray Firth and Berry Scrumptious of Aberdeen.
