Chef’s charity curry bath

A Norfolk chef has taken a bath in curry to raise money for Children in Need.

Alim Uddin, chef at the Spice Cottage Indian and Nepalese restaurant of the Market Place in Diss, sat in a bath full of curry to raise money for the charity. The chef sat in the bath for over an hour as restaurant staff collected money.

Event organiser and restaurant manager Emdad Hussain said, "Children in Need do superb work to help families. We are a family run restaurant and a big fan of the charity, so we wanted to do something to support them."

Earlier this year waiters at the Spice Cottage dressed up as super hero characters to help raise thousands of pounds for East Anglian Children's Hospices.
