 With an emphasis on alfresco dining and light, seductive summer tastes, this year’s BBC Summer Festival will also provide mouth-watering aromas from sizzling barbecues as well as brilliant ideas for sensational picnics at the NEC from 11-15 June, courtesy of the Good Food Show Summer.Highlights will include the Summer Kitchen, where top celebrity chefs including Gordon Ramsay, James Martin, Lesley Waters, Simon Rimmer and the Hairy Bikers will be entertaining audiences and giving them inspiration for great summer food. Great tasting home produced food will be a strong theme at the show, with some of the best produce in the UK on show, whilst, elsewhere, the Fine Wine and Spirits Show will help with the decision about whether to take along a cool, crisp white wine or a lively exciting cocktail for that special picnic.
