A Moscow chef has been arrested on suspicion of killing his father-in-law and selling pies made from the human meat in the café where he worked.
The chef, who has not yet been named, reportedly killed his relative following an argument. He is then said to have cut up the body, before mincing the meat.
It is suspected that dozens of pies were sold before it was discovered exactly what type of dish were being sold. The new product line was allegedly on sale for three days in the café, located some two miles from the Kremlin.
The case is the latest in a line of cannibal crimes to have come to light in Russia over recent years. In August this year another chef admitted to murdering a man then using the meat to make sausages and meatballs. The man, named Ivan L, even went so far as to post video clips of his unique dishes on the internet.
