Malabar Junction in London’s Bloomsbury was the venue for the flagship event of Britain’s Biggest Curry Party – an annual fundraising campaign.
Celebrity guests at the glittering evening included Theo Paphitis of BBC’s Dragon’s Den, TV broadcaster Lizzie Cundy and pop sensation Leee John. The James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer organises the awareness campaign every year to encourage people to raise much needed funds.
TV and radio personality James Whale, who set up the charity in 2006 said, "Thank you to all our supporters up and down the country who contributed to another successful Britain’s Biggest Curry Party in and around the week October 17-21. I know that, like me, you had lots of fun getting together and importantly raising money for the cause of kidney cancer patients."
